About The Hastings Training Venue

The Hastings training venue has parking both on site and nearby, delegates will be informed as to the venue access either in advance on request or before the first day of training. Public transport is also well provided for around Hastings and across the greater Tonbridge area. Depending on course type and length, every delegate will be provided with the full information well in advance and to the satisfaction of all those attending training. Several venues serve the Hastings area so please ensure that transport preparations are made in advance and to the correct training venue. Your Xyz training advisor is available to assist delegates as required.

Refreshments Provided

Depending upon the course type and course length, suitable refreshments and subsistence will be provided. In the very least at our Hastings training centre this means basic tea, coffee and water. Certain training courses provide hot and cold lunches, the details of these will be notified to all delegates prior to the start of the course. In the circumstances where basic refreshments are provided, delegates will be given ample time and information on where to purchase any food required. Persons with preferences and intolerances to certain food stuffs should make this known at the time of booking.

The town is located 24 mi (39 km) east of the county town of Lewes and 53 mi (85 km) south east of London, and has an estimated population of 86,900. In historical terms, Hastings can claim fame through its connection with the Norman conquest of England; and also because it became one of the medieval Cinque Ports. Hastings was, for centuries, an important fishing port; although nowadays much reduced, it still has the largest beach-based fishing fleet in England. The town became a watering place in the 1760s, and then, with the coming of the railway, a seaside resort. The attraction of Hastings as a tourist destination continues; although the number of hotels has decreased, it caters for wider tastes, being home to internationally-based cultural and sporting events, such as chess and running.
