The course will be delivered over two days and will include a combination of theory and practical sessions. CERTIFICATION

Course Accreditation - Upon successful completion of the First Aid at Work 2 day Refresher training course, candidates will receive a First Aid at Work certificate that is valid for three years. This certificate is recognized by the Health and Safety Executive HSE and meets the requirements for workplace first aiders.

To ensure that first aid skills remain up-to-date and effective, we recommend completing an annual update of your first aid skills. This is in line with HSE recommendations and best practice. Our refresher course provides a comprehensive review of first aid techniques and procedures.

JOINING

Joining Instructions - The First Aid at Work 2 day Refresher training course is a 2-day course designed to refresh the knowledge and skills of individuals who have previously completed the full First Aid at Work course. The course is specifically tailored for those who hold a current First Aid at Work certificate that is due to expire.

The pre-course requirements for this training course include a valid First Aid at Work certificate that is due to expire within the next 3 months. Candidates must also be physically able to carry out first aid procedures and participate in practical exercises.

Photo ID is not required for this course, however, candidates will need to provide their previous First Aid at Work certificate as proof of completion.

Candidates should wear comfortable and practical clothing as the course involves both theoretical and practical elements. No personal protective equipment or other types of equipment or clothing are required, however, candidates are advised to bring a notepad and pen for note-taking. It is also recommended to bring a packed lunch as breaks may be limited.
