Course Information
CISRS has introduced a mandatory New Entrant Trainee and Scaffolding Labourer course into the scheme. The new must-have CISRS training makes it a requirement for any new entrant Scaffolding Trainee or Scaffolding Labourer to complete a CISRS one-day course before a card will be issued. Course is designed to provide all new scaffolder trainees and labourers an appreciation of general site safety. Also how to work safely with scaffolding and access equipment and the safe method of manual handling. Scaffolding labourers will need to repeat the course every five years before renewing / attending a refresher course.

This course is for new entrant/operatives who are looking to start a career within the scaffolding industry.

Accreditation
A multiple choice question paper is included in this course. Following completions of the CISRS Construction Operative Training Scheme (COTS) successful candidates will be issued with an attendance certificate. To apply for a CISRS Scaffold Labourer or trainee card, delegates must hold a current Health & Safety Qualification within the last 2 year and have applied for their card within 2 years of completing the course..
