Who Should Attend?
Construction and Utilities industry workforce operators, managers and supervisors, who as part of their working duties select, mount, specify or use abrasive wheels as defined in PUWER Regulations 1998.
- The course is delivered in the classroom through demonstrations by the tutor. It also includes a practical element where delegates will familiarise themselves with changing the disks on the saw. Delegates should inform the tutor before the course starts on the type of abrasive wheels and equipment they use so that the course can be tailored accordingly. Training is conducted either on customers premises or at any of over 50 centres nationwide and is purely a classroom based course, not specific to any particular grinding or cutting machine.
