Our combined IPAF 3a and 3b operator training course is an accredited course offering certified training in the use of Mobile Elevated Work Platforms, including scissor lifts, booms, and cherry pickers. All successful trainees will receive an IPAF PAL card, valid for 5 years....

5 year accreditation by IPAF for successful delegates. Persons passing the course will receive a 5 year PAL (powered Access License) and certificate. Course involves both theoretical and practical examinations and a strong use of English is essential..
Both written theory test and practical tests . Both tests must be passed in order for candidates to receive their IPAF cards. There is a pass mark for the theory test and for the practical test, if an operative makes more than the allowed number of mistakes then they will fail
The Course is delivered over a whole day, theory in the morning, practical in the afternoon. The course has a multiple choice closed exam as part of the theory which delegates must pass in order to progress to the practical element of the training.
