The aim of the Supervising Safely course is to provide supervisors and others that have a similar role with the relevant knowledge and skills required to supervise work safely.
Who Should Attend
The IOSH Supervising Safely is principally designed for anyone with a supervisory aspect to their role or leads a small team of worker, across all industries and organisations. The course emphasises the practical aspects of health and safety at the first line supervisory level.
- Module 1 - The Supervisors role
- Module 2 - Hazards; risks and control measures
- Module 3 - Improving safety performance
- Module 4 - Understanding responsibilities
- Module 5 - Communications
- Module 6 - Environmental awareness.
Available as an open course at over 50 venues nationwide or as a private / inhouse course on client premises.
An IOSH 'Supervising Safely' certificate is awarded to all those who successfully complete both assessment elements. Understanding of the course material is evaluated by means of a multiple choice assessment and practical assessment to be carried out at your own workplace.
