Combined CITB Health and Safety Awareness Course and Touchscreen test
This 1 day Construction Skills Site Safety Plus Health & Safety Awareness Course provides a practical summary of health and safety, welfare and environmental issues identifying individual responsibilities for looking after themselves and others, what the employer's duties are and what should be done if they think anyone's health and safety is being put at risk. This one day course aims to ensure that individual responsibilities are understood: - Why they are carrying out their identified duties. - What is expected of them. - To ensure that they contribute to the safety of the workplace. Entry Requirements The minimum entry equipment is a good understanding of spoken and written English. By the end of the course, delegates will be able to: - Realisation of the need to prevent accidents. - Health and safety law explained. - Understand how their role fits into the control and management of the site. - Comprehend the need for risk assessments and method statements. - Understand the need to perform safely and to stop and ask for advice if not sure. Obliged to report unsafe acts to prevent an accident.

Combined CITB Health and Safety Awareness Course and Touchscreen test training is available at training centres UK wide, and on client premises (as required) provided minimum delegate numbers are achieved. Parking, public transport links and refreshments vary from centre to centre and these will be confirmed to you prior to your enrolment on any course.
On successful completion of the course delegates will receive a Construction Skills Site Safety plus Health and Safety Awareness Certificate & CSCS card.
Entry Requirements The minimum entry equipment is a good understanding of spoken and written English. Following this training the delegates can then sit the CSCS touch screen test in order to attain their scheme cards (cards being applied for need to known in advance of the training day).
